In Architecture and 3D design a visual is without doubt the most effective way of communicating ideas, and at the early stages of design we believe that visuals presented in a hand drawn style are the most efficient and engaging images to produce. But starting a hand drawn visual is tough for a lot of designers. Knowing how to compose an image, deciding to go the traditional or digital route, how to control perspective, getting the best from 3D modeling and render programs, understanding how to populate the image with entourage......these are all aspects to be learnt and considered.

So we've set up Add Life to help you with this in two ways.

Firstly we've made your life easier by providing lots of ready to go entourage. We know that drawing people, trees etc is the hardest bit, the most time consuming and not really what you're about. But it does make all the difference.

Secondly, using our years of experience in Architectural Illustration, we are building a resource to educate you in this art form. Which does make a huge positive contribution to the design process and should be a confident skill all 3D designers have.

And who are we? We are Gareth Hughes and Steve Dimes. Two guys who know this business inside out.
