This tutorial will guide you through the process of adding Add Life entourage to a 2d digital or scanned visual in a graphic software application using the load selection/activate mask command.

Open visual file and Addlife image file in photoshop (or other graphic application)and
adjust the size of each so they can both be seen on the screen.

Working with the entourage image file, in Photoshop go to menus> select> load selection> copy> and then click on the visual image and paste the entourage into the visual. In Photopaint go to mask menu>load>alpha channel>copy> then paste image the into the visual file.

Select the new Addlife figure layer > select the Move tool from the tools menu
> click on the image bounding box (changes from dotted to solid line)
> to adjust scale, hold down the shift key and click and drag on on of the marquees (the shift key constrains the proportion of the figure). If the figures are scaled down and later need to be enlarged it's better to reload them from the alpha mask to maintain quality.

Align the head of the figure with the horizon line, then adjust the scale with the the bounding box using the left or right bottom corners marquees, dragging upwards to suit the desired position within the visual. Remember to hold the shift key while dragging to keep the figure in proportion). A horizontal guideline is useful, particularly when there are multiple figures to add. Use the keyboard arrow controls to adjust the final position.
